Vowel 02: ا-آ​ / ā-ā (aa)

2: ا / ā or آ​ / ā (aa) – [ IPA /aː/ ] :In initial position the character is preceded by ‘madah’ on Alif ( ا ) for the pronunciation of the vowel (aa). It resembles the long “aahh” sound and “a” in “father”.
